The Final Stretch
NEET exam preparation is a marathon, and these last 2 months of preparation is the time where all the muscles of your body are fatigued and giving up becomes easier. Self and external motivation is extremely necessary at this critical juncture. I would like to share the strategy that I adopted during these last 2 months.
1) Exclusively shift myself from reading books to questions
I had read the NCERT so many times till now, I was frankly fed up with that thing, but since all the subjects are extremely volatile you have to keep revising. I used to solve questions from either guidebooks or my coaching material. 200 questions a day was still the rule
2) Carefully attempt previous years question papers.
PYQs are a very important and instant source of external motivation. My score in these previous papers was sometimes even more than the AIR 1 of that year. There is a reason behind this phenomena that I now have come to understand but at that time it gave me the motivation I desired. It is important to space your PYQs. Do not solve them at one time, 1 per week should be good enough.
3) Discussions are more important than isolated study
I had finished my syllabus almost 5-6 times after my pre boards and boards so it was very boring for me to read the books again and again (just like in the first point). I used to discuss topics and questions with my teachers and friends which had 2 positive effects. One that I didn't feel lonely and I had someone to talk to about studies and it helped me revise almost the entire syllabus almost 2-3 times.
These are my 3 basic ideologies of how to study 2 months before exams. If you need me to put a subject wise plan please let me know in the comments below. I also plan on posting a 2 week and 2 day method.
