Questions to solve
Questions,
questions, questions. Players play, Businessmen sell, Doctors treat, Engineers
build and We the students solve. This is what all the fuss is about. If you are
able to solve questions nothing else matters. Everything is forgotten and
forgiven. The number and thickness of books you read, the number of classes you
attended, school, coaching nothing matters if at the end of the day you can
solve questions. This is our job; to solve.
I had a weird
calculation.
I need at least 100
questions to have a good grip on a subject
(1)
There are approx
1000 topics ( including subtopics I know it is quite bizarre) (2)
So there are a total
of 1,00,000 questions that I needed to solve. (from
1 and 2) (My teacher will be so proud of this
And there are almost
500 working days in the span of 2 years
( Excluding the days of all types of exams and taking into account sick
days etc)
So I had to do at
least 200 questions daily.
I know that this is
complete bullshit (surprisingly this made too much sense 4 years ago).
But I followed this
ritual very strictly. I had a calendar on which I used to put in the number of
questions I solve daily and used to treat myself with a lot of food if I solved
over 7000 questions in a month. ( I will do anything for food).
Solve all types of
questions. Easy questions to boost up your morale and initially. Tough
questions to increase your level and have a competitive edge.
Hi Shivam. there are no guarantees with any rule they are just some objective standards that I kept to track my progress. The best way to see if they work is to try them yourself for a short period of time I would say 3-4 weeks. As per repeated questions I would say do not repeat any old questions. Only repeat them if you want after the completion of the entire syllabus. Only repeat difficult questions already marked by you in the first go. All the best to you. Hope to hear from you again
