How to Prepare for AIIMS and NEET in 1 year
Lets say in a hypothetical scenario, I begin my serious preparation from March and I have to appear for the NEET exam next year in May. (This technique will be applicable for school going people, I will add a separate blog on the study approach of students who have taken a drop year).
Along this route I will have many obstacles on the way such as my Pre Boards and Boards exam (which are important and I would advise you give them seriously as you would give your NEET/AIIMS). So if I am to plan a schedule to complete the syllabus keeping in mind these obstacles, I would plan it like this.\
First Priority :
Finish The entire syllabus before October 31. (Since most pre boards begin in December).
Second Priority :
Solve 100 questions per day (depending on the topics you read the previous day)
Finish 11 Class syllabus before summer vacations get over
Third Priority :
If possible join a test series (I joined distance tests of Allen, It has a good predictor value and they have topic wise tests so you can test your class 11 knowledge).
If possible also appear for the KVPY exam in November (It is a way to revise the entire syllabus once.)
Study for Boards and pre boards (for PCB I mean not English and the optional)
A blessing about boards is that you end up reading NCERT for physics and chemistry which you otherwise would not prefer. (So when I mean study for boards I mean 2 things, Read NCERT very well of all the subjects and Learn to solve physics in steps and balance the chemistry reactions.)
After Boards
Revise 11th syllabus in not more than 1 week.
Solve previous years papers (2 papers in 1 week)
Please read my blog on how to prepare in the final 2 months (The Final Stretch). This approach is the same for all.
One thing you must understand that there are people who have been studying for the last 1 year and you will have to study double hard to be able to match with them.
