AIIMS Exam overview

The name is enough.

It is an online exam conducted by AIIMS New Delhi. It is 3 and half hour long exam and contains 200 questions.

1. Biology – 60
2. Chemistry – 60
3. Physics – 60
4. G.K. – 20

It also contains 20 Assertion and Reason type questions per subject.

My strategy for this exam was to not stop studying after giving my NEET exam. The one month after NEET is quite exhausting. I really didn't know what to study. What I ended up doing was solving a lot of A-R type questions. (About 100/day). I did that only to get a hang of this and find a way to solve these. My methods mostly worked and were directed against minimising the silly mistakes.

The theory part of AIIMS and NEET is MOSTLY (not all) same the only new thing that I needed to get used to was the language of the Assertion and Reason type questions. Once I got the hang of that everything was quite smooth.
